I am just about full on my Samsung F3 1Tb drive. I'd like to re-organized the files on the drive. Will there be a problem going from a 512 byte sector drive to a new 4Kb Advanced format sector drive?
Shouldn't be, depending on your OS. WinXP would need an alignment tool run on the drive first, but Windows 7 should be fine. Sector size on a hard drive is usually abstracted away and in general should be transparent in practical operation.
