Migrate WHS 2011 to MS Virtual PC 2007

My current physical system setup:

HDD0-- WHS 2011 OS
HDD1-- DATA 1
HDD2-- DATA 2

My plan is to do a clean install Windows 7 Pro on HDD 0, then create a virtual pc that run WHS2011. Since I want the data on HDD1 and HDD2 stay the same, I will do a data backup/recovery setting for the WHS2011 OS on the current physical system. Later, I would run the data recovery on the virtual WHS2011.

My question is: Will the virtual WHS2011 will still be able to access HDD1 and HDD2?

Why do I want to go thru all of this trouble?
Well, I figure that it would be nice to burn all of my old DVD(no blu-ray) and Karaoke DVD into the WHS2011 as my media server, then used my PS3 to view them on my big screen. I have been using the WHS 2011 since the release date of WHS 2011. Now, I just learned that PS3 does not work well with karaoke files because PS3 cannot turnoff the vocal audio signal. I figured I would use VLC software on the WHS2011 physical machine to play the karaoke files. However, I stumble upon another problem. WHS 2011 does not support sound output. So my solution is to use a htpc that will also have a virtual WHS 2011 on it. I have no budget right now so building an htpc is not an option. I still want to keep my WHS 2011 because I still want to use some of it capability. Furthermore, I was dumb enough to purchase WHS2011 for $120 on newegg.com on the release date and I just don't want to waste that investment already.

Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
