migrate raid to new mobo?

Hi,

Please help!

Another Asus P5W DH toasted on me. This time it even shorted out a hard drive. I think the problem is the Antec 550w smart power supply because both boards were used with this psu. I wanted to upgrade to Gigabyte P35-DS4 at the same time swap the psu to ocz 520w modstream. Questions are:

Can I just migrate the raid 0 from the asus board to the new one? the asus has ich7r and the gigabyte has ich9r
If I have to stick to another asus board will the ocz psu work with no problem?

The system right now:
Asus P5W DH (toasted)
Q6600 @3.2ghz
Antec smart power supply 550w
corsair 2x1g ram
2xraptors 36g in raid 0
7600gt video card
seagate 320g hdd (toasted)

tomshardware article says it's ok to move from ich7r to ich9r with repair installation, hope this will work
