Migraines

Has anyone experienced constant migraines? If so, what was the cause?

Don't tell me to go to a doctor because I just want to hear experiences. My sister has been experiencing severe migraines constantly and has been sleeping a lot. She is on her way to the doctor know, but I figured I'd ask if anyone else has had similar experiences.

A friend of mine gets them because her neck is out of whack. She's been going to a chiropractor lately and she said it's helping.

My ex's sister gets them a fair amount...usually in conjunction with meningitis (she suffers from Behcet's Syndrome along with a severe case of fibromyalgia.)

MSG (monosodium glucamate) is my trigger. That ingredient in many chinese foods (among others) is evil ! Watch for it.

Lola also has this issue. We try to steer away from it, but sometimes it sneaks into our diet.

No but I know people that have.

And for awhile there I was experiencing headaches at the end of every day.

Pick her up a bottle of Triple Omega, it's a a blend of 3, 6, and 9 omega fatty acids from borage/flax/fish sources.

The brain is mostly made of fats. I think the push towards ultra-low-fat diets is resulting in a lot of migraine sufferers. After a few weeks of taking that Triple Omega supplement, I haven't had a headache all month.

And does she consume a lot of caffeine? If she does, she could try drinking a cup of coffee when her migraine starts, and if it stops then that means she has become caffeine dependent. It has to do with blood vessel constriction and deconstriction.

Ahah. Your ex sister's migraines are most likely being caused by a fungal invasion within the brain. Fibromyalgia in the mainstream is an "unkown disease" and "uncurable", but those of us with nutritional knowledge know that Fibro as well as Arthritis, Migraines, Psoriasis, Asthma, etc. (you know, most of the "don't know why" diseases...) are Fungal related. Cure: Stay away from the simple sugars and foods that tend to mold quickly or have yeast in them.

My brother used to get them, sometimes they lasted for months on end. The culprit was severe food allergies.
