Has anyone experienced this? I get full stereo out of output 1/2, but I only get monural out of the headphone jack. Do I just have a defective unit? :-(

I'm getting full stereo, though it was a bitch and a half to plug in (tight as all hell) with my D2000's. Maybe try reseating it and push in farther? Usually when a stereo source is only coming out of one channel, its because the cable isn't seated properly. If it's still doing it after re-seating, test it out with another headphone or speakers.

Full stereo with my Senns. What speakers/headphones are you using?

I didn't realize you bought one too 🙂

Senn HD525.

And I get stereo when I jiggle/hold the cable in place. But as I said, no such problem with line 1/2 out on the back. There's no easy remedy for this, is there? I even tried a 1/4" adapter plugged in to a miniplug adapter (i.e. just changing the miniplug). Same drill. Ugh.

Help?!

Perhaps try a headphone extension cord. I have HD280's and they wouldn't fit right for stereo on my DS3L onboard jack. Stupid plugs 😛

That's what I meant by the adapters. I plugged in a mini -> 1/4" adapter (I lost the original one the Sens came with. And then plugged that into a 1/4" -> miniplug adapter. Same drill. :-( And my one gripe with these cans is the cable is already WAY too long. In fact, it's so long that when standing (which I often am to play guitar) the weight of the cord sometimes jogs loose the contacts of the plugs that go into the side of the cans. Not the best design. But lord the audio quality....

I'm just annoyed. I don't use headphones often, but a HUGE appeal of this thing was that it effective has two headphone outs, which would be great for recording podcasts. I'm not sure if it's worth sending back to get a new one or not. Poo.

Sorry to bust into your thread, but does anyone have any idea where to get a power adapter for this? I have a 4pin firewire interface I'm trying to connect this to. It takes a 10v 1a adapter; pretty much every one I've seen is either 9v or 12v.
