Migisol error???? installing XP?

When I run the Windows XP test to see if my PC is compatible, about half way through I get an error message saying "Migisol has caused en error...' Is this goign to cause me problems if I try to install Windows XP.
Also, I currently run Windows ME, can I just put my full version of Windows XP Professional in the Cd-rom and choose 'instal', or do I have to re format my hardrive??

You will recieve that error when trying to UPGRADE from WinME.

You are ALWAYS better off starting from scratch (CLEAN INSTALL)
when installing a NEW OS.

If you BOOT from the WinXP CD you will be prompted about an
already exsisting Windows install. You have the option to simply
delete the exsisting partition or installing on it (leaving the current
install in tack - i.e. Dual Boot).
