i might have a virus but im not sure. my computer is pretty slow. the startup is slow, shutdown, internet everything is slow. could someone help me with this? thanks.

Do a check @ housecall.trendmicro.com and see what it reports.

Also check your start up files by running msconfig at the run command - delete all uneccessary programs - a freeware program Startup available from www.mlin.net is very handy for this.

Follow usual maint. routine - download windows updates, and install, do a disk cleapup, update AV and run a full scan in safe mode.

Defrag HD if you havent done this recently.

Check free space in HD, if low, delete unnecessary files.

i only have 7% free space on my C: soo i cant run the defrager until i free up some more space, but i deleted a ton of stuff and it still didnt move over 7.

Make it do a chekup and copy/paste ur results on this site : http://www.hijackthis.de/

If you have anything bad on your computer that'll find it.
