Might have a business!!!(need sugestions)

Okay. So At my dads business, (a structural engineering foundation) they used to use a software program that ran off of ME. They decided to update to xp and get the newest version of the software which they use most of the time. Therefore, they needed to update the comoputers that they used (which were ancient). They really didnt care too much about price (fueled by strucural engineers with a little cash and wanted a flashy computer to impress clients and such..) So my dad put me up to the task and I built them a few computers which came out great, and much more efficient than the old machines. Now when people walk in they take intrest in these computers and ask who built them. They get the "my son" or "his son" speech and the client becomes intrested sometimes. I was thinking about going down to competative edge and getting some business cards which they said they would gladly put on their desks. Suggestions? Need summer money...😉

edit: like how should I go about this?

Yes, but these are old, out-of-the-loop old people or buissinesses.

Easily poised to install junk, become easily confused and generally depend on you constantly for support.

Congratulations on doing a good job for your father and impressing his co-workers and clients, but tread carefully with this new computer building business.

thanks🙂 anymore?

Are you planning on doing this as a local buisness or an online one? If it's local you pretty much have it made if you can get the word out by word-of-mouth references from your dad and his clients. If you're going online, and you're serious about this, you better make sure you can provide good tech support and good deals to attract people and keep them coming back.

Well, it is local, but people come from far around the area. I was thinking of making like a kind of sheet where I ask questions that qould giev me an idea of what they really need..

comments?

it's a good idea but there's only one complication that i can think of. if something goes wrong, you will be expected to fix it.
