My sister had a 99' Jetta and it was/is the biggest POS ive ever seen. My friend has a 04 A4 and so far no problems what so ever but he has only had it for 1.5 years.

You can say that about a lot of premium brands. Show me an AWD Honda with an easily modded factory installed turbo and then I'll believe you can get something similar to Audi.

That 1.8 liter turbo is a bitch ass engine. If you get that, make sure you get a GIAC chip to mod the engine's points. Good luck

Most people don't buy their car with modification in mind.

True enough, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. One of the big reasons civics were so popular with the youth crowd was because they had an very strong aftermarket support that other brands didn't.

Subaru Legacy GT😉

Well I bought it and have had it for a month...great car. I did kind of get screwed on the deal - the car had a few problems that cost some money but I'm still liking the car. Rear diff seals were both leaking, got that fixed...right front spring was broken, so I installed some new H&R springs. And last but not least, the turbo was shot wastegate actuator rod broken - couldnt even tell until I drove somone else's a4. Solution...put a bigger turbo in! Now I need to get it chipped and exhaust..

Quattro owns in wet/snow/ice 🙂

I'm in the process over converting mine to EFI (once I get some cash) and then cranking up the boost.

here's a pic It's pretty dirty.. it was melting a lot around the time when i took the picture, so lots of slushy stuff.

5 cylinder inline, with a funky mechanical injection system and turbocharger. 160hp stock, but It has very mild boost stock, so when you crank it up you can get in the neighbourhood of 225 easily (chip + spring), and near 300 with EFI or some other method of extra fuel delivery.

!

Minus the body kit it's a good sleeper.

Kind of reminds me of this beatup, rusty, two-tone GMC Typhoon that I saw at the track. I was laughing when it staged up against a 00 Camaro SS. I stopped laughing when it did a 10sec 1/4 mile. Funny thing about it was that I could hear its' exhaust over the Camaros; that was until the tree turned green 🙂
