G35 Sedan's are sweet! Just drive one and you'll fall in love with it. 😀

I think the fact that I own one might make me a little biased, though! 🙂

: ) Amanda

The problem with G35s in CA (the OP is in CA) is that they are a dime a dozen. In some areas, it feels like every other car is a G35.

i have a 2005 sentra spec v now, and they are fairly rare, about as rare as evos or sti's (though not as fast). the Z i drove today couldn't go as fast around an onramp as my spec, which was disappointing. i'd like an upgrade in handling too if i get a new car, looks like an sti or evo are the cars to get. or s2000?...

350 looks horrible to me. Reminds me of a turtle for some reason. The g35 is an awesome car though as mentioned above everyone and their mother has one in CA. But then again in CA there are M3's, 911 turbos, lotus elise, sti, evo, that you will see a high abundance of everytime you drive on the freeway or around town. At least around where I live. Unless you get some kind of rare rx-7 mint condition your not going to be sporting anything that is going to turn heads.

Not to crap on your car or anything... I drove one, did not fall in love. The sedans look fugly, and their NAV isn't the most user friendly, but the coupe looks hot. I would have loved to get the coupe, but I needed the practically of a 4 door at the time. I opted to get a 2004 TL with nav instead. But if I wanted a sports car like this guy is looking into getting, the 350Z would be up in my list and possibly the S2000.
I fell in love with coupe when I first saw it, and it was the one I wanted for a while. Once I really looked at the sedan, though, I began to like it. I don't have the NAV so that's not a problem for me. I think saying it's fugly is a bit extreme though. Fugly to me is the Element or the XB.

Anyone on ATOT who knows me can tell you that I get defensive about my cars, so don't crap on my ride again! 😛

I have the same car as yours but in the garnet fire color. Nice car for sure.

S2000 baby! That's currently my ride of choice when playing Initial D the arcade game. I even bought one of those little cards to store the information for my S2000. I really suck at the game, but with a little more practice, I'll be good enough to battle against those crazy fobs out there. I want my car to burn with a blue or red aura as well.

A g35 coupe is 99% the same as the 350z, same platform, same engine, minor cosmetic differences. If you don't like one, you probably won't like the other.

Audi's and some VW's have very poor reliability ratings, I would avoid these if you don't want to spend more money on repairs than on the car payments.

The dodge SRT-4 is a glorified neon, an overpowered economy car. I believe they have some transmission and turbo problems, cheap interior. And they are front wheel drive, which is just plain retarded in a sporty car. You want rear wheel or all wheel drive.

My recommendation you say? No one else has mentioned it yet. It's a bit of a sleeper car, and performs very well for the money. The interior is good, not great like the luxury cars, but I doubt you will complain(unless you are just a snob). And the engine definitely doesn't leave much room for complaints, and in case you like to mod your cars, it is very moddable.
------->>>>> Subaru Legacy GT.
Go test drive one, or in fact go test drive them all. But I guarantee you will enjoy this car. It is a quick little ah heck, and combined with Subaru's reliability rating(quite good) cheaper to maintain than many of the others. It also has a proven AWD system. And you can buy a NEW one for that price. Yes, I know the MSRP is higher, but here is the secret. Subaru is trying to sell these cars like crazy in order to gain market share and brand recognition. You can easily get one for dealer invoice or just slightly higher, don't believe the salesmen at first, they WILL go down on the price. The thing they don't tell you is they get a rebate of 3.3% from subaru for the price they sold the car at, thats how they will make a profit from selling at invoice. This is a great car, it did when 'New car of the year award 2005' in Japan, a car market more competitive than the states or europe.

Transmission in the SRT-4 is a tank... I'm positive it would take a grenade to blow this thing... I drive it hard... on the track and off - with no problem at all...

Turbo problems? it eats gas... that's it 🙂 I've only heard of a handful of people that have blown their turbo's, and that's only because they were screwing with them and didnt know what they were doing...

Everything else you said though is spot on... It's just a neon... 🙂 a fun neon though!

Too bad you're not up here in norcal. I'd gladly give you a test ride in one. Have a friend who could give you a ride in his Evo too.

i should be able to buy one cash in a couple months, but i'm not a fan of the cosmetic changes for 06... that roof spoiler looks kinda hokey.

had a 350z for a little over a year. very fun car. would try and get a g35 coupe if i could do it over again. pretty much the same car however.

350Z is a very nice car, but I would spend a little extra and get the G35. A superior interior and the G35 just looks so sexy.
