I would just like to know what a 'locked' thread is and who is responsible for doing it and why it is done? TIA


A locked thread is one in which no additional posts are allowed. The moderator is responsible for locking the thread. A thread may be locked for various reasons including, but not limited to being O/T, nefing, inappropriate posting, etc. Making us lock a thread does not make for a happy Mod.
