How's everyone in the midwest doin?

Here in central Missouri we've gotten about an inch or so of solid ice and a bit of snow. There are lots of puddles of water from the rain we're getting right now that are going to freeze over tonight. The road conditions are horrid, luckily most people around here have been staying off the roads.

Hope everyone stays safe.

We got a little the last few nights in michigan, about 1/8", but the roads were fine. They are saying up to a half inch tonight, though. There is an ice storm warning until tomorrow at noon.

Yeah, I was on I-70 yesterday and it was fine, but every single road here in town (Mexico, MO) is covered.

How is everyone holding up? We lost power at home, I have all the faucets dripping now since it was already 59 degrees inside. I took solace at work. :p

EDIT: Oh, and my office at work is leaking again. :(

We got lucky in central IL. It just rained, never froze. It's just above freezing now.

Fri night was a different story, though. Lots of ice on the trees, but the roads stayed clear of ice. Lots of trees down, though.

I'm south of Detroit, and it's just been rain so far.

I was hoping for more ice so schools would be closed. I have the day off, but my son still has to go to school, so no sleepin in for me today. :(

Oh well... too bad for him. :)

I lost power on Friday night. I think I have it back now(as of Sunday at ~4)... Still over 5000/17000 in my zip code don't have power.

Yea... its nice looking when you don't have to be "out in it". ;)
Driving to work was ok, i am just worried that it will freeze EVERYTHING later on this afternoon. :(

I'm home sick today so I can't comment on what it's doing outside. I've still got power north of Detroit which is enough for me. I'm going to need to drive up north either tonight or tomorrow morning which could be interesting if everything freezes up again.

I'ts not bad now. Less than an inch of snow last night, and none left on the streets (basically). You might want to leave early though, the temp will be slowly dropping to ~10 degrees tonight, and that's gonna make a lot of icy roads.

Well I just woke up this morning. No school as I suspected. Its still pretty bad here in central Missouri - all the rain we got last night froze. Hope everyone else stays safe.

We got a LOT of ice in upstate NY too. There was a nice sheet of ice over everything yesterday morning when I went out for the paper. It rained all last night and now it's even thicker. There are tree limbs coming down around my house all over the place. I'd post pics but, have a doctor's appt in a few minutes. Maybe later...
