Midtown Madness and Windows 2000

Hello,

I installed MTM on my computer last night and then downlaod all the patches possible for Windows 2000 including DX8.

Everytime I play the game my mouse stops when I try to go the menu for like five seconds then I can move it again for a few seconds and the same thing happens again. When I try to play it just stops and then my wheels lock to the the left or the right.

Abit KT7
Duron 600@800
ATA 100 RAID 0 IBM
Logitech Cordless Keyboard

I am not sure what's happening here but it might be the cordless keyboard?
