I got off night shifts, my first night off, so I'm still wide awake. Takes a while to get back into the normal transition.

Playing around with javascript and learning as I go. I've never really sat down and learned it, I just kinda mess around and lookup stuff I specifically need to do at that particular time. :p Building an ajax web app so this is a fun little adventure lol.

I should go to bed. Almost 5am. If I was at work it would be close to the time to start clearing all the DMS10 telco switch alarms. Pain in the butt. I'll sleep to that!

Work night shifts long enough and it becomes harder and harder to completely reset yourself. 20 years after working my last night shift and I've found it difficult to completely reset my night owl ways. Of course, I had over 20 years of working primarily night shift before that.

I've always had a hard time working a 1st shift job so when I started nights 15 years ago it was a blessing in disguise. I've always been a night owl and always will be.

Yeah I can imagine especially since I'm already night owl to begin with. I'd ask to just work nights all the time but still need to stay in the loop of what goes on, and still lot of stuff I can learn and what not, which happens on day shifts when more stuff is going on.
