that's what I don't have, but i will be riding on the trail they have here. the chance I get close to a car is less than 10%.

No he just has big cahonez. I dont ride a bike with any protection on either. Its just pointless if you get hit by a car, and if you fall off a bike, you deserve to get hurt

I just don't believe in it. I had hurts my arms and legs before, but never my head. hemlet = no thanks.
 
When I was in college, I did it all the time. I used to get out of the lab at around 1-2 am routinely
Biking back home down the hill alon g the empty Telegraph avenue - priceless.
A light and a blinker is a must, though
 
Oh ya, midnight bike rides are the bomb. If your out on the streets make sure you have lights and a helmet. If you have access to a nice park with a 30km path like I do here...then night rider style is good 🙂 Feel like doing one now but can't, legs too sore from the gym 🙁

I suppose if I were riding slower than most people walk I wouldn't wear a helmet either.
