Midiland S4 8200 + ?????????

I'm currently still running on an original SBLive and DTT2500,
which has suited me up to now but has always been ... quiet 🙂

So as far as an upgrade goes... well how good is this combination?

I'm also not sure I understand all the input/output combinations and problems and so on. This system would run 5.1 in DVD, but what about games? And would it even matter? I really like the Fourpoint feature of the DTT2500, I guess my concern: Is there something similar in this setup... would I still get four speaker sound while playing games?

[edit] - ok, now I'm trying to figure out which one to buy... I read that there are a number of problems with the GXTP... so

another SBLive? (seems the best card still)
one of the FM801? (sonicfury, santa cruz)

I already have the Midilands on the way.. if you own a set I'd appreciate knowing what cards work best with these speakers. Thanks!

I'm not exactly sure...

I have the Game Theater XP but as of now only have 2speakers/sub. I believe a lot of people are having troubles getting output on all speakers.

You may want to check out the hercules forum (audio) and see what you can find.
