Midiland S4 8200 & Sound blaster live value

I have the midiland s4 8200 speaker set and a sound blaster live value. I was wondering what I can do to get 4 speaker output? Thanks

Does it accept only AC-3, or does it have two stereo inputs?

It accepts ac-3 and has only 1 stereo input.

Hmm. I think the SBlive! has AC-3 output capability, but you need to get the daughtercard for it.

AC-3 is diffrerent to four point surround. You can already get AC-3 through the yellow digital out socket on your live card.

But most of the Live! Value cards don't have that output. It doesn't matter. I don't know about the digital out thru the daughtercards, but the digital out thru the yellow jacks on Live! cards are only front stereo anyway.

The yellow digital out on mine does 4.1 digital to 4.1 speaker sets and 5.1 AC-3 to the supporting sets.

I have the newer card from the Platinum, which I suppose is the same as MP3+ and X-Gamer

Then where in God's name did I read that the yellow jack is only stereo? I swear I read that on Creative's site somewhere... 😛
