ok here's the deal - i have a midi file, call it a.mid, that needs to be converted to a 16 bit 8 mhz mono type 0 midi file (it already is a type 0 midi file). i have no idea how to figure out what the specs are on the current version of a.mid and ive tried looking for converters, etc., but with no luck. please help!

welcome to AT maziwanka...I dont believe that I have seen your around before. are you trying to do this to send it to your cell phone, or just want to convert it for other reasons?

hey, thanks for the welcome, yea its for a ringtone. supposedly thats the format required. wow, ive been here for a while but i didn't see this forum.
