Middle of Build, need some help

Hey guys back again, this time in the middle of my build. I ended up doing a external test as new egg suggested, i was excited to see that everything powered on, cpu fan, graphics card, and power supply fan. But i never got a splash screen on my monitor for the mobo. Dont know what to do now or what that could be and i dont know if i should proceed to start the build in the case. Any help would be great!

Where did you plug in the monitor: to the graphics card or to the onboard graphics? Try the other. Then try removing the graphics card and just using the onboard graphics.

make sure that your monitor input is set correctly too, or set to auto-detect.
