This game looks stunning and absolutely badass. So now it looks like we have 3 stellar action RPGs coming this year, assuming this game gets released in 2014..Witcher 3, Dragon age 3, and shadow of mordor. What do you guys think?

Edit: Cant forget Dark Souls 2, probably the game I am most looking forward to. although it isnt next gen..

Is it by EA too? While I have generally like the EA LOTR strategy games they've done, they seem a bit too designed for multiplayer and I also enjoy a good SP session. Plus in their 3d engine, it seems even at maximum zoom you are way to close to the ground giving you a limited glimpse of the field.

Im pretty sure they said that you can still play it like the first two dragon ages but you can also play it as an action game!

eh? da2 is nothing like da1, though.

to be clear: da2 was a wretched action RPG that was universally panned by players.

Sorry I was thinking of the first dragon age then, the developers said that like origins you can pause and choose commands during combat..or you can fight in real time

Warner Brothers is publishing and Monolith is the developer!

To be fair, i found DA2 enjoyable. I thought the combat was improved from the first one. The story was much more shallow, but it wasn't abysmal. It just was not up to par with the first game.

Yes the game was rushed, and it showed...that being said i'm looking forward to DA3, because i think they listened to all the hate they got, and do not want to cripple a really good franchise by releasing another weak product.

I'm also looking forward to all 3 of the games mentioned by the OP.
