Mid Usb 400 Watt Atx Case

I'd be a bit wary of buying a Case & P/S where I couldn't get detailed specs on the power supply. If it has too low an output on any power lead, you will end up with an unstable system. Looks like it could be a good deal, but be aware that this might not run an AMD box very well.

Interesting that they also sell a 400W PS separately for $34.99 ... so the case is only $1 more?!?!

if you want a quality case/power supply check out this link: future power ok, under the future power cases they have p/n's ace300 & ace400 , i ordered the ace300 for $31, + reasonable shipping, (can't remember exactly what), and it showed up with a 400w ps. i'm not saying that this is gonna happen for all people, or at all, but the quality of the p/s is good, and the case is good also. and they got it to me 2 days after ordering with standard ups ground. very good service and reputable!

I bought this exact case meyself last week and it seems to be just fine to me. I actually haven't started filling it with components yet, but 400w is more than enough anyways. For the price I haven't scene much else out there.

Dude, if you want a 400watt Future Power PS, you can mine for $25 shipped.

It won't work with my Iwill KK266 and Thunderbird processor. Apparantly the +3.3v amperage isn't good enough. Either way, I'd go with an AMD Approved 300watt over this.

Guys, before posting these deals make sure you search. This case has been posted numerous times in various threads. If you read the other threads you will see that the quality of the case is horrid, maybe worth the $1 they charge for it, but it's hideous.

The power supply isn't worth the $35 they charge for just the power supply.

Lesson: Search before you post.

Hgabriel-

Are you referring to this thread -- Updated: Cold Deal!! 400 Watt P4 and Athlon case for $49.00 Plus shipping ?

That's the Future Power 'ACE' case, which looks kinda similar to this one, but isn't the same (thank god--thing looks like a big belly button or something on the front). Is there another thread with this case in it that I'm missing? -- I don't even know the brand on it (it looks like it says "MegaSuper" on the front or something). In any case, I'm sure it can't be the greatest quality for being that cheap, but for a Duron system or something, I think it's a good deal. Anyone else have this exact same case and want to comment on it?

Hgabriel get the hell off your high horse. A thread about "TDK CDR's for free" or "Free Great America Tickets for AOL Members" are specific enough to warrant a "search first" post. But this is a damn case. Its a very broad catagory and in fact, this isnt even the same case referred to in the ]other thread. Some people will find it to be a good deal and just because you dont isn't a reason to slam it. Just sit back, Check out this hot deal since its obviously for youand let the moderators do the moderating. Hopefully Anand wont allow people to become golden members just by scoring post counts by whining.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I ordered this case, a refurbished Gigabyte motherboard, Volcano II fan, and AMD Duron 750 from webuildpcs.com and got my items quick, packed great, and everything's up and running awesome right now! I'm very happy with their service (except that I had emailed them a few minutes after making an order to have them add a few other small things in, and they must have forgotten -- but I was charged the correct amount for what I got).

The case is a Future Power, not super-quality.. but it looks good and works fine for what I need it for. I wouldn't expect the 400w power supply in it to work just as good as an $80 AMD-Approved or anything, but who would? The case also has USB ports on the front (in a flip-out panel -- the cable's in there so you can hook it up to your motherboard as long as it supports that). You aren't going to find anything cheaper (esp with webuildpcs.com's cheap shipping), I know I couldn't.

Anyway, just in case anyone else was thinking about ordering anything from them (cheapest price I've found on a case), just wanted to give some feedback on them.

There was a big thread about this exact case but it disappeared a few weeks ago; probably because the subject line included the forbidden p@yp@l word.

I bought one; the first power supply was DOA, the replacement seems to work fine and even has the additional P4 connectors which the first didn't have. I can't comment on it's quality but it runs my Athlon 1.2 with an Epox 8k7A just fine.

I also have an Antec sx830 which is a very high quality case, but I like the Megasuper case too. It's better quality than many generic cases and is small for how many drive bays it has. It also maintains pretty good case temps for me with just the one exhaust fan.

A word to the wise; if you buy anything from a vendor you don't know much about be sure to use a single-use credit card number. I didn't when I bought this case from teacco.com and they charged me twice making the case not such a hot deal. It's been a real struggle getting the second charge removed, hasn't happened yet after 3 weeks of numerous phone calls to them and American Express.
