6600 (300/500)
X700 (400/600)
X700Pro 128MB (420/864)

I didn't realize the x700Pro 128MB was so awful in HL2.
1280x1024
6600GT: 56fps
x700Pro: 28fps
1024x768 4xAA/8xAF
6600GT: 46fps
x700Pro: 17fps
Makes that rumor that they are bringing a 12-pipe x800 down to <$250 to compete with the 6600GT seem a lot more believable.

Our testing shows that the GeForce 6600 GT is definitely the king of mid-range PCI Express graphics. The 6600 GT's strong performance and wide availability highlights the absence of ATI's Radeon X700 XT, which was launched more than two months ago but has yet to hit the market. The Radeon X700 Pro with 256MB of memory definitely has a performance advantage over 128MB Radeon X700 Pros, but neither are quick enough to take the mid-range crown from the GeForce 6600 GT
