Doesn't etiquette require that you reach quarter life in age before invoking the mid-life crisis excuse to get any crap you want.

Go big or go home. If you're going to have a midlife crisis, do it Charlie Sheen style.

Haha, I had my first quarter-life crisis at 25. Out of school, with a couple years of work experience and I had just finished a contract. Realized I hadn't gone traveling anywhere so I took off to backpack Europe for a few months.

Now I'm almost 28 and I'm having my second crisis. Off to Australia this time! :D

I have called off my mid-life crisis and am planning a mid-life celebration instead.

I think only married guys have mid-life crises.

This. I bought a Z06 when I was 21, but since I was single it was classified as "doing whatever the hell I want, when I want."

Hell, if I don't change the way I view things, and my income doesn't improve fast enough, I might end up buying something half the world calls an "import tuner" or "rice rocket" when I'm in my late 20s.

To defend the future me, I'd like to own the current model of either the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo or Subaru WRX STI.
The availability of raw power and torque is a nice bonus, but they also have some of the most capable AWD systems on the road at their price level.

I'd like to have a nimble thing that tells me everything about the current status of its shoes on pavement, minus all the actual words.

Buy a Subaru WRX. They have AWD and you can help pull my shit car out of the snow. I even have tow cables in the trunk you can use.

Serious answer: buy a Subaru WRX. Because they don't get stuck in snow, you never need to shovel one out. Shoveling is bad for your old man back and it makes you look like that loser who doesn't yet own a Subaru WRX.

Does the WRX come in a convertible?
