Hi all

I have tried a few things, like resinstalling X Cel, to try and get the columns that number 1 - ...... to go the left side, instead they list down the right side. its most irritating. also the sheet 1 2 and 3 list on the right side at bottom of page

Have I got a virus? All virus checks are clear?

Any ideas, please let me know

Thanks

It's called Microsoft Excel, not X Cel. Not a reference to a cell in the X-axis.

Anyway, see that thing on the top right hand side of your screen that says HELP? If you click on it and read the directions in the Microsoft Excel Help you'll find it is VERY easy to use. Get familiar with it, you'll be using it a lot.

I typed in 'align left' into the help dialog and behold, the answer to your question.

Now you try.

In Excel, go to Tools->Options, click the International tab, and select "Left-to-right" under Default Direction. Click OK and restart Excel.

Transition
Wrong side of bed?
