Microwaves: 1.2 or 1.6 cu. feet, both 1200 watts

About to buy a microwave and trying to figure out which one to get. 1.6 cu. feet seems to be the way to go but is 1200 watts underpowered for that size?

take the bigger one.. wattage is not going to affect cookign time.

You can always add a few minutes to cooking time, but you can't always shove that extra extra inch of fried chicken in.

I went through the same dilemma a year ago and just went with the 1.6, and haven't regretted it at all.

1200 watts is fine for 1.6 ft ..... go with the bigger one.
