Microtek Slimscan C3 EPP + winxp?

Wow, I thought I was the only one with this scanner. 🙂 I'll be hooking it up to my brother's computer tomorrow night, so I can let you know for sure. (Duron 800, WinXP) In the mean time, have you downloaded the new drivers here?

hrm.. a second look at the actual file name shows its a bit different from the win2k filename... i didn't download it at first because the link shows the same name as before... thought it was the same. i'll give it a shot. thx


oh, and you can't be the only one who has this.. tons of ppl have this from the staples deal.. they paid us $5 to take it off their hands 😉
 
I got mine...2 years ago? At a Best Buy After Thanksgiving sale for $15 after MIR. 🙂 I have to say, for $15, this scanner does one hell of a job. Damn nice quality and the clarity is superb, or so I think. 😉

Let us/me know how it goes. I won't be installing it on my brother's machine until tonight.

didnt' work at first, but went into the bios (it's set for ECP/EPP) to use version 1.9 instead of 1.7.. and it worked.

oh, for the price, definately does a great job. I just wish it weren't so piss poor slow 🙂
