I was reading all the rebats listed on rebateshq.com and found a $10 rebate for microtech usb media readers, in my case a Zio compactflash reader. I bought it during one of dell's 20% off sales.

if U can find this @ Staples there is a $10 off of $30 right now (until 1.31.01) it'll be even hotter...

Also...if U can find it @ OD or OM they match Staples coupons. Kewlio if U ask me! I'm lookin' to get one of these readers esp b/c it comes w/ a USB cable so that U don't have to reach around your computer to stick your memory card in it...or have a front port or whatever. Also, it saves on your battery useage if U don't have an AC Adapter (costs Xtra for the proud owner of this canon s110) :D

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
God Bless

Actually, I think I like this one @ TigerDirect more. The zio seems to need drivers. Uggh. This one is a generic USB Mass Storage Device, so it can use default drivers. A little more money though.

this link works
what you have to do, is goto the product page, and go to the type of hardware it is, then choose the company. It will list all the products in that category in that company, by this kinda link. Thats the only way to make a link to neweggs products.

this is SUUUUUUPER hot for me. i bought the ZMMC MMC reader back during one of the Dell deals for $17. It had a $10 rebate on the box, but it required that you purchase a hardware device (mp3 player, camera, etc.) at the same time as the reader (i bought my mp3 player before i bought the reader). this one doesnt require that! woo-hoo!!! $7 for my reader and $35 for 64meg MMC card! :D :D :D

I have the ZIO memory stick reader. In W2k, no drivers needed, worked when plugging it in.
