Microsofts XP: Hardware changes a turnoff

No big deal. First time antipiracy has been taken this far but very much needed!! Again, new approach and hopefully will be useful. In the coming months and years, MS and other companies will move to this type of protection and they'll work out the headaches...no big deal.

If it bothers poeple that much, then stick with Win2K or Win98SE or whatever.

If its an OEM licence and its only the motherboard's chipset that it detected then fine. Thats fair enough since OEM licenses are for that one machine, period. If it detects CPU, memory, modem, NIC, video or sound changes and then shuts down then forget it. Microsoft will have a hard sell.
