Microsoft Word page skipping

When I am using Microsoft Word, the page will constantly skip to a page that I am not working on. It seems to be skipping to the end but not always. This is a fairly new problem as I did not have it a month ago when I was at college. This is just since I have moved. Is this a problem with the mouse or the program itself or something else entirely? What can I do?

Using a touchpad?
Is a key getting stuck?
Do you notice any odd behavior in other programs?

Yeah, my internet explorer does the same thing. I'll just be reading a web page (or a MWord file, either or) and suddenly the page will just drop down to the bottom or near to the bottom. It's become a real issue because I can't read any long passages without having to stop every few minutes to find my place again as the page jumps down.

Any suggestions?

Oh and i'm not using a touchpad and I don't believe any keys are stuck.

I agree with kranky on this one. If you aren't using a touchpad (accidentally resting your wrist on the touchpad will make the mouse jump around) then it is most likely a stuck PageDown key. It could also be a virus so it is worth doing a full system scan to make sure, but it's more likely to be a problem with the keyboard itself.
