Microsoft word memory/disk space error?

Whenever I try and save or use a tool in word I get this error : "There is insufficient memory or disk space. Close extra windows and save your work." Im using a Pentium 200 mmx with 32 megs of ram. I know this isnt much but it always got the job done before a month ago. Im not sure why I get this error when system resources are 89% free and all I have running is word. Any ideas?

Also there is 500 megs free on the 3 gig drive.
