Microsoft Word, how can you automatically insert dates?

Lifer
I'm not talking about just inserting today's date, but starting with a certain date to another date. (Lets say August 20th-May 3rd) at the top of each page?

Short of doing it by hand, does anyone have a clue?

Err... Let me restate this

top of first page
August 20 2003

top of second page
August 21 2003

top of third page
August 22 2003

and so on...

Just do it with auto fill in Excel. Then copy and paste.

Or if you need just a start date and end date put it in the header.

That is one way to do it, but I was hoping for something native to Word, to cut out all the copy and pasting. If it was me doing this I would just go ahead and do it, but this is to help out someone else.

As said above, just insert the text into the header. Unless the date is calculated somehow...

You probably need to write a macro.

In case you're asking how to iterate over a range of dates, most people don't understand what you're asking. 🙂

Just logically thinking, I would think that it would be a piece of VB referencing date+1 or something to that effect.
