Finally a wireless mouse that is actually competition for the MX700!

The non detented scroll wheel takes a while to get accustomed to, however.

I ran a utility that shows the cursor refresh rate at 125Hz, the USB allowed maximum. :)

I had to ditch the MX DUO, it caused a "MULTI INTERRUPT REQUEST" STOP (BSOD) upon coming out of standby 3 out of 4 times which is VERY annoying especially on a machine that never crashes, EVER. :|

Cheers!

Standyby is evil. Especially since Windows doesn't know how to enumerate usb out of standby.

Windows has bad power saving support. It takes a lot of time to get my BIOS configured just right so that Windows won't complain when doing Standby or Hibernate. Two thumbs down. :(

1) I was incorrect in my reference to standby. I should have said move the mouse to bring the monitor out of standby. We never use standby or hibernate since the systems are always working on projects. On another note this 213T takes FOREVER to come out of standby or sleep mode! :|

2) Both KB and Mouse ports were plugged into PS/2 ports. USB wouldn't allow me to enter the webserver that controls the RAID arrays.

On this combo, it works flawlessly so I'm using USB. No problems so far...

Cheers!

Interesting. Wonder if it was driver or hardware related?

Hard to tell. My wife has the DUO and hasn't complained other than the fact she hates the mouse. She's an avid quake player. I told her to be patient, the mouse will grow on you. She was previously using a Dual Optical.

Lots of people complain about the Mouseware software but I like to have the programmability of all those buttons so I cannot live without it.

Cheers!

MS Mice are horrible when it comes to accuracy, and use with games such as Quake. Their optical processors are underpowered, and their wireless RF rate is sluggish at best. Feels like you're playing about 200ms behind what is going on on the screen at any given moment.

The mouse will not grow on her if she likes to play FPS< its just a junky mouse; and the dual optical is MUCH more precise and lag less.

The only benefit to the MS mice are their looks, and comfort. I recently purchased the Microsoft BlueTooth Intellimouse Explorer .. let me tell you first hand its the best looking, and most comfortable mouse I have ever used. Period. The thing was absolutely horrible when it came to everything else though.

The revision 2.0 has changed that. Better than any other MS mouse including corded models.

The MX700 is much better than the MM dual. Her complaints are the size and feel of the mouse (the batts make it heavier too) not the tracking.

Yes the BT mouse is based on older optical technology just with a BT radio.

Cheers!

I love mine. I think I actually like the non-detented scroll wheel better than the detented kind I had before.

The mouse has one of those wheels that allow for you to scroll sideways, right? I forget what they call that feature but I liked it when I tried it out at BB.

I want one of these combos for my upcoming birthday. The wife has been shown the exact one. :)

I hate how the newer MS mice side buttons are...too mushy and not clicky enough. Not to mention too big for some of them.

Logitech MX700 I love though, buttons are perfect, most comfortable mouse I've ever used. And I haven't once miss-pressed one of the side buttons.
