They have them marked on clearance at the local Target here.....just happened to be walking through the isle for no real reason. $37.34 + tax out the door.

Again, YMMV....perfect point is the current thread about Target having X-Box Live for $25.....mine has it for $35. I got one and there are 4 left at my store....need to tell the guys at work in the morning.....

The Logitech MX700 is the only wireless mouse worth having. Don't know about the keyboards.

This is the regular optical desktop, with the normal keyboard and Wireless Intellimouse Optical.

If you're on a budget, grab this as a good solution. Otherwise, if you want the best for just a little more, grab the Cordless MX Duo.

Went ahead and bought one, will test it tomorrow. There was still 5 or more left at the Springhurst store in Louisville, KY.

I actually tried out Logitech's elite keyboard, but the keys are just too small for my big hands. MS keyboard has nice full-size keyes.

I have to disagree with that. I have the intellimouse explorer wireless and love it. I tried my friends logitech and found it too small for my hands

I think target is clearing out all their wireless kb/mouse. I went to 3 different targets and every wireless kb/mouse was clearance.

i just got my MX700 today..
i'd have to say if this is the best wireless mouse there is.. there is no wireless mouse worth buying if you're into games.. or photoshop...
this is nowhere near as accurate as a wired mouse..

That's why I run with two rodents. For day to day tasks, I use the cordless optical that came as part of my Logiect Cordless Elite Duo and for Photoshop, Maya and games I use a MX500. I like being freed of the cords, but like you say the accuracy of the cordless is not all that it is cracked up to be (especially if you are trying to accurately paint weights on a model in Maya).

i just picked this up at target in my excellent compatriot rapids, mn for $18 on clearance. so far, so good. my only complaint is that they changed where the home/delete/end/page up/page down keys are..

it was the last one. i'm happy with it overall. looks very sleek, and i haven't noticed any problems with the kb or mouse.

Anyone else have problems with the hot keys on the keyboard sticking? Especially the 'mail' and 'web home' keys. Those I can get to stick every time, if I try.

MX700 is a bit on the heavy side for gaming. As it turned out, the extra two small buttons on the side of the wheel is just the same as turning the wheel 1 tick up or down, and they are not programmable (meaning if you actually program hardware for a living, you still can not do anything about it.)

I would have gone for MS bluetooth instead, but it's just me. Enjoy your mice though...

Picked up one of the MS Wireless Optical Desktops for $18.67 at the Target in Fresno at Bullard & Blackstone. They had a couple more left there.
