Hey, I've been interested in getting this mouse (my god, if feels disgustingly good in my hands) and have been reading up on what other people have thought in the posts here. The thing is, most of the posts were negative toward this mouse, but it was discovered that these people had the older 1.0 version of the mouse.

My question is, how does the new 1.0A version work in games? Does it have any problems with lag?

(Also, I am not concerned about the fact that this thing will eat batteries like a mother- I'll be using rechargables. Also, I will not get a Logitech MX700- even if it is better, it is also $30 more).

Any imput would be apprectiated, thx for any comments!

I have a Wireless Intellimouse Explorer and I like it alot.
It likes to eat my rechargeable batteries up..
I game with it and it works great for me.
I don't think I could go back to a corded mouse.

coo, thx for the reply. How long have you had it for? I'm concerned that the bottom panel might break when I'm taking it off to replace the batteries.

I've had mine for around 6 months.
I've been pretty rough with mine, not as fragile as it looks.

I have both the Microsoft explorer 1.0A and the latest MX700. The MX700 wins this hands down. Although I like the microsoft's shape better other than that nothing else :(

i have tried both of those, and i like MS's design much better.

mx700 is little bit too heavy.

i returned the mx700 and bought extra MS wireless for my family, but they don't need it, so i have it for sale.. :p

I also have a Optical Wireless Inteli Mouse Explorer and I LOVE it. I've had it for at least 4 months or so, maybe a little longer. It's very well built and it eats batteries faster than a vacumm sucks up dirt. LOL Actually mine lasts about 2 to 3 weeks before I have to recharge them again. Make sure you get 2 sets of rechargeables and a good recharger, you'll need them.

The MS Wireless Explorer lags in FPS games just to keep in mind. where the MX700 don't
