Hey I moved my setup from the floor to a new desk that has a glass top and a metal frame. but when i did the mouse wouldnt move right or click... any idea why... oh and yes i'm using a mouse pad.

No optical mouse can work corectly on glass or shiny metal surfaces. You gotta put something under the mouse, piece of paper or something like that (mouse pad?) You sad that now your mouse won`t move on mouse pad ?
That can`t be from just moving it to new table, it must be something else.

Is the mouse connected? maybe it came loose during the move? I'd check to make sure, if it's not moving or clicking than that would be where I started looking. Myabe unplug it, start the PC, then shut it down and reconnect it. Maybe your drivers are FUBAR'd

Ok i tried reconecting the mous and keyboard and re installing the drivers... finaly i just switched to wired ones... but i would really like to get it to work

have you pressed the "connect" buttons on the receiver and the mouse? some times they lose "contact" with each other.

ya i tried the "connect" buttons... nothing worked on it... the only think i could think of was the so much metal in the desk
