Nice find op. I have a laser 5000 set that is getting a little long in the tooth. At $20, this should fit the bill nicely.

Amazon now has it at 29.99, still a great price at Staples though.

Really tempting but I want a mouse with a thumb button! Those seem to go for way more money though

Actually the one on Amazon is now $50. The $30 one is the MS Wireless Desktop 3000, which is not as ergonomic.

Word of warning - if you didn't already know, these are absolutely horrible for any type of gaming. Period.
Keyboard and mouse, or just the mouse? I've read the mouse isn't good because the scroll is continuous, not discrete. Haven't read anything bad about the keyboard which, for $20, it's still a good deal if you want to use your own "gaming" mouse.

*Disclaimer: I'm not a gamer

Both. Keyboard will occasionally miss keystrokes (just happens with wireless, especially with the damn microreceivers they use now), and the wireless mice get jumpy for the same reasons.

Also, it really, REALLY sucks to have the batteries die right in the middle of a game that you can't pause. :)

OK, so what you're really saying isn't about this product specifically, but wireless keyboards/mice in general.

That's online, it looks like you can still reserve it at your local store and pick up for the sales price. That is, if it's still in stock at your local store.

In general, yes.

But my experience has been more specifically with Microsoft wireless peripherals in particular. I have far fewer problems with Logitech wireless mice (haven't used keyboards) and haven't had issues with missed keystrokes on Microsoft bluetooth keyboards - but bluetooth has isn't own set of problems (namely huge latencies between keypresses and response time).

First of all: This is a good price for what is offered - nice find, OP!

Now a word of warning: The material that the mouse has wrapped around the sides and back is a strange rubber-like plastic that degrades pretty quickly under use such that it starts to look moldy and disgusting after a few months of continuous use.

Thanks OP! Got 2 from one store and one more from another. Already have 3 of these (2 for my home PCs and one for work) and love them. Couldn't pass them up at this price.

Just picked mine up. They had several in store, though the in store price is 29.99. Make sure you reserve them online to get it for 19.99.

Forward and back buttons on the mice. All feels pretty nice. Adjustable stand on keyboard to raise the front or the back. I prefer to raise the back so the keyboard slopes down. Works well for me. All in all, very happy, especially at that price.

Thanks again OP!
