That's the easiest way to think of it. But if you change enough other parts you may need to call MS for activation. MS has been known to be fairly lax and will activate for new motherboards but don't count on it.

so which version of vista (link me from newegg please) can i buy that easily allows me to install as many times as i want (the key being used only once at a time)?
