It's showing download options for Office 2007. I don't have Office 2007, only Office 2003. How do I get rid of these optional updates?
 
Office 2007 would also include things like OneNote, Visio, Project, and probably a dozen other separate programs. Sure you don't have any of those installed, either full versions or free trials?

On the Microsoft Update web page, you can, at least, tell it to not to remind you again of a particular update.
 
I downloaded the trial of publisher 2007 once and promptly uninstalled it. But I don't think Publisher is part of Office 2007.
