Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error in PowerDVD, Divx 5.0...etc

Whenever I use either PowerDVD, PowerVCR, Divx 5.0 Player....etc...to watch video clips and such I get a nasty error. The error is:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Libarary - Runtime Error
- abnormal program termination

Anyone know why I am getting this error?? or how to get rid of it?? This happened the second I installed PowerVCR Deluxe, but not it affects Divx 5.0 and other multimedia players. So far it hasnt affected my games but I figure that'll happen sooner or later since many games use MPEG's or AVI's and such for their video scenes.

Basically, this happens in one of the Microsoft dynamic link libraries, most likely one of the MFC ones. Games will therefore not be affected by this, they are normally statically link to whatever they need.
There is one thing that could fix your computer back up: If you uninstall DivX and then reinstall it, it will possible overwrite the bad dll from PowerVCR.

Give it a try - I hope it works.
