Microsoft universal audio drivers

I recently bought a microphone (Logitech stereo USB Headset 250), but when I plug it into my computer, it is very scratchy. To my knowledge, it doesn't have any specific drivers, so I was wondering if there is a way to reinstall or update the Microsoft universal audio drivers. I am pretty sure this is the problem because i can plug it into my laptop and it works fine.
