Microsoft tuns Halo 3 Testing into a Science

Too long to copy here, but it's an interesting read and really gives the felling that this game is done because Bungie thinks it's done, not because they need to meet a deadline.

link not working but its nice to see a company finally saying that...whether its true, we will find out, but i can probably list on one hand the number of games I played that felt "DONE" as opposed to rushed to the finish...*cough* EA *cough* (not all but some of these games are merely slammed together!)

He forgot to add potentially.

Also the link in the OP is fixed.

I found their reaction to the end of Halo 2 to be amusing. I always thought Bungie just wanted us to suffer, but now I see it wasn't what the intended at all.

Yeah, I'd like for the writer of this piece to show me the line-up of games where the PS3 is clearly graphically superior to the 360 right now. They are on even terms at best right now.

Yep, first big project where they had to drastically increase the size of the team plus deal with the pressures of being a flagship title, etc etc. Reading these articles on Halo 2, it is sometimes a wonder that it came out as good as it did...especially the multi-player part. The Bungie devs are repeatedly really down on how it came out.

I read this article earlier this morning and came in to post that, but you beat me to it.

I"m hoping the single player/coop turns out really good in this game.

that's the only reason I'm looking forward to it, although more for the coop. I hope that the campaign is a little bit longer though, and it would be great if they somehow made the coop a little more complex rather than simply just the sort of tacked on feel it has been, although I'm not going to hold my breath. Besides, it isn't like there are a whole lot of coop titles out there anyways so something is better than nothing.

The 360 has been out a year longer. It had damn well better have nicer graphics comparatively right now.
