This mouse uses a metallic looking rectangular area instead of a traditional scroll wheel. It provides haptic feedback which is adjustable. My question is does anyone know the driving mechanism behind this? (i.e. is it a tiny motor like some cell phones/pagers use for vibrate or perhaps is it based on the piezoelectric effect?)
