I spend about 1/8 of my time at work doing computer and IT tasks to keep our small business network up and running. Since we only have maybe 80 computers total, it really doesn't require a full-time position to keep us going (at least it never has before).
I want to start using Vista at home to get an idea of whether or not it would be useful for us to upgrade sooner or later at work. Also, I kind've want to stay ahead of the game.
I would also like access to some other Microsoft software such as Project and Visio..
Is Microsoft TechNet the way to go? It costs $499 and looks like it would let me get a version of Vista Ultimate for home use.. but it says for evaluation purposes. Does that mean it would only work for 12 months?
Or, should I just plan to buy Vista Ultimate when it comes out?
