Microsoft System Sweeper

Microsoft has released a new tool (beta) called System Sweeper to remove malware/rootkits. The installer creates a disc or USB flash drive that you boot from to clean the system.

Has anyone tried this yet?

No, but it looks pretty interesting. I'll have to check it out for my girlfriend's parent's computer.
