Time for some benchmarking.

Can I power my PC from over a greater distance using USB-Ethernet adapters and Cat6a?

100W at 12v is 8amps.... That's going to require a thick wire and thick connectors.

Limit at 12v is 3A. To get the max 100W requires a 20v 5A setting.
