Being the idiot I am, I left my Xbox 360 power cable and power brick in a hotel, so I called up Microsoft to buy a new one, since no one sells it in retail, and they're like $150 on eBay. I was expecting to shell out some cash, but they sent one over to me for FREE, and I told them the truth too :). They said this was a one-time thing, but still, damn, that's great service.

Yeah when my 360 died they sent me a new one even though I was almost a month out of warranty. I went ahead and picked up their extended warranty plan to be on the safe side though.

IBM FTW!

I'm guessing MS needs to keep the public happy after all the crap they had right after 360 came out.

That's good. I also had good service with MS. I also was pleased with the fact that Sony worked with Nintendo and replaced my gameboy when the type of batteries I bought f-ed up my gameboy years back,

MS hardware has always been very generous. I've always had pleasant dealings with them (back to the 1990s)
