Microsoft Storage Spaces -- removing "mirror"?

Homerboy

Lifer
So I have a small storage space set up in Win10 and it's set up as a 2-way mirror.
I don't really care about the redundancy/safety net at this point, and more concerned with maximum space.

Is there any way to convert from 2-way mirror to "single disk"? Or maybe even convert to parity disk?

Thanks in advance.

Not sure what you mean by 2 way mirror. Are you asking about going from RAID1 to RAID0?

MS Storage Spaces has options when you create it: Simple (no resiliency), two-way mirror, three-way mirror and parity
When I first set it up, I chose two-way mirror as I wanted/needed the resiliency.
Now my needs have changed, and I just want to go to "Simple" to maximize disk capacity

I Googled some more after my initial post, and it seems it's locked in sadly.

Yeah - as I said I googled around and seems there's no "built in" way to do it. Maybe a registry hack or something but I'm not messing with that due to obvious reasons.
I will just have to get another drive and shift things around.
Ah well.
