Hi Guys,
I am at this very moment going to setup a new system... (Upgrading my p2 400mhz with Win98SE)
But i just heard that supposedly the Sidewinder Gamepad (original) Gameport version with daisy chain capability does not work in Windows XP?
Does anyone who actually has tried it under WinXP?
I invested in two of these controller and I already spent more then i should have on the upgrade parts, I dont want to have to buy new controllers .:(

Please post some feedback

They work perfectly fine, and are natively supported under WinXP. I have a couple of them daisy chained right here and they've been working beautifully.

Works, but I never daisy chained the gamepads. By the time I wanted to try, they only sell the USB version!!! I think the problem is that they start disabling buttons when you daisy chain (not enough signal wires I guess).

Has anyone tried the same gamepads under win2k ?

I have a pair of the original MS gamepads and when i chain them, they register in win2k, but once I enter games, only the one directly connected works.
