And IBM, arguably the No. 1 player in the Linux market, promotes Linux to big users, but does not actually sell Linux: "It's weird. IBM says 'Hey British Aerospace! Buy Linux...from SuSE.'"
actually thats pretty good... why support what you don't need to? not like MS supports most of its products other than bug fixes... "oh, thats an OEM key, you need to call who you bought it from"

Technology like clustering would be better in Windows than Linux eventually, said Ballmer: "We will beat Linux on clusters. We can't beat them on price, but we have to add value."

what makes them think clustering would be better in windows? Look how far Linux has come...i think there capable of dealing with Clusters in the same way Microsoft would. But that wouldnt be for me to say, i dont much when it comes to this kinda stuff. Just my own opinion.
