Microsoft 'patents human skin'

I don't thimk that link is very accurate. From the stories I've read, Microsoft patented "wireless" devices and power supplies that could be worn which could be interconnected using the natural conductivity of human skin. Their patent also covers using the technology for dogs.

Ie, you could put cameras and other devices on search and rescue dogs; the devices could be mounted away from bulky battery packs etc (eg the head) and not depend on wires to connect them. Cool concept IMO.

What a horrible title for this thread. Did you even read the patent that you just linked to?

I just copied the titled of the FIRST article I posted. They have this title in BOLD letters, so back off.

As usual for M$ just steal ideas and throw lawyers at it.

don't know about that last link, but ms's patent provides power, not strictly for data.
